KATHLIKA FONTES

Director of Investor Relations, Grain Management

Ms. Fontes is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with Limited Partners and their advisors, leading capital development processes, and managing external and internal communications. Prior to Grain, Ms. Fontes was at StepStone Group as a lead client advisor. Previously, she held roles in constituent relationship management at American Cancer Society, and technology and strategy consulting at Accenture. Kathlika currently serves on the board of PACIV and One Family One Unit.

Ms. Fontes holds an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

IVELISSE RODRIGUEZ SIMON

Managing Partner, Avante Capital Partners

Ms. Simon joined Avante in 2009 as a founding member of the firm. She is responsible for identifying, executing and managing investment opportunities. In addition, she manages the fund’s portfolio and new deal activities.

Ms. Simon has over two decades of middle-market debt and equity investment experience. Prior to Avante, she held positions at Palladium Equity Partners, Reliant Equity Partners and various investment banks including Salomon Brothers. Ms. Simon serves on the board of several companies including Quest, LLC.

Ivelisse is a longtime advocate and champion for women, minorities and the underserved and underrepresented. She holds leadership roles in several local and national non-profit organizations, including The Robert Toigo Foundation, The Hispanic Scholarship Foundation and Westside Family Health Center in Los Angeles

Ms. Simon graduated with honors from the University of Illinois and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.
