The Women in Alternatives (WIA) initiative was developed to tackle the challenge of improving the representation of diverse female professionals in the alternative investment industry. Our 3-part In, Up, and Beyond strategy supports ethnically diverse women in all stages of their careers.

IN: Paradigm Changers Internship Program

Undergraduate and Graduate Summer Internships

As part of the Women in Alternatives initiative, the Paradigm Changers Internship Program builds a pathway for the next generation of women to access careers IN alternative investments. The program provides internship opportunities for ethnically diverse women from a broad range of academic disciplines, providing the opportunity for participants to gain the skills, knowledge, and exposure needed to pursue a career in alternative investments.

UP: Fellowship Program for Mid-Career Women

Career Development Program

As part of the Women in Alternatives initiative, the UP Fellowship program helps mid-career ethnically diverse women rise UP in their careers. The 6-month program focuses on career development and provides training, mentorship, and networking opportunities.​

BEYOND: Training for General Partners

Support for Women Starting Firms

As part of the Women in Alternatives initiative, the Beyond program helps ethnically diverse women build a firm and navigate fundraising. The program provides a suite of holistic resources and support that address the industry’s most pressing challenges and gaps, propelling women BEYOND. ​Launching July 2024.
