Shirley Lu is an MBA Candidate at Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. She began her career as a Research Analyst at Citadel Global Equities in Chicago, where she specialized in quantitative investment research, asset allocation, and alpha capture. She later pivoted to fundamental investing through positions at Balyasny Asset Management and PanAgora Asset Management. On PanAgora’s Stock Selector team, Shirley supported its REITs, software, and biotech investments. She also launched and managed its IPO strategy that beat target benchmarks. This past summer, Shirley interned at PJT Park Hill in their Secondaries group.
At Tuck, Shirley is a PE Fellow, an Accounting class representative, and a member of Women in Business. Shirley received a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Engineering from MIT, where she majored in Computer Science and minored in Economics. Shirley is an active member of the Media Lab and MIT Alumni Angels of Boston (MITAAB).
