Russell Williams is an M.B.A candidate at the University of Michigan – Stephen M. Ross School of Business where he is earning his degree with an emphasis on Finance and Strategy. On-campus, his passion for Finance and Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) is highlighted by his elections as the V.P. of Finance for the Black Business Students Association, V.P. of D&I for the M.B.A. Finance Club, and his selection as a Venture Capital Associate for the Zell Lurie Commercialization Fund.
Before Ross, Russell attended Texas Christian University where he earned a B.B.A. in Marketing coupled with an Accounting minor. As a defensive lineman for the TCU Men’s Football team, he culminated his four-year career as Big XII champion on a team that finished #3 in the nation. Upon graduation from TCU, Russell began a career in consulting with Deloitte. Russell ultimately left consulting to pursue his M.B.A. and a career in Finance. He recently gained exposure to Wall Street during his internship with Barclays as an Investment Banking Associate.
