Mrs. Dufresne is a founding partner and Managing Director of RLJ Equity Partners. Founded by Robert L. Johnson and The Carlyle Group, RLJ Equity Partners is a private equity firm which invests in middle market companies.
Mrs. Dufresne is responsible for sourcing, executing and monitoring investments. She is also involved in the day- to-day management of the firm, including fundraising. She sits on the firm’s Investment Committee which makes final investment decisions. Mrs. Dufresne is member of the board of directors of portfolio company LAI International and she chairs the board of directors of Fleischmann’s Vinegar Company and Media Source Inc.
Prior to RLJ Equity Partners, Mrs. Dufresne was a Venture Partner with Parish Capital Advisors, a fund of funds where she initiated and led their direct investment and co-investment program. Prior to that, she was a Principal at Weston Presidio, a diversified private equity fund. She began her investment career as an Associate Director in Bank of Scotland’s Structured Finance Group and as an Associate in Accenture’s (formerly Andersen Consulting) Strategic Services Group.
Mrs. Dufresne earned her B.S. in Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and her MBA from Harvard Graduate School of Business.
