Michael Hyter, President & CEO of The Executive Leadership Council (ELC), participated in a fascinating conversation with NAIC President & CEO, Robert L. Greene. Hyter detailed the early professional experiences – including the impact of his first meeting with fellow African American professionals – that later shaped his perspectives as a Black executive in Corporate America. He also shared his views on Black board members’ responsibilities to their community and explored possible solutions to the wealth gap. The Detroit native gave a “State of the Union” on Black America’s relationship with Corporate America, providing deep perspectives on the wage disparity, promotion and turnover rates for Black employees.
