Martin Nesbitt, Co-Chairman & Co-CEO of The Vistria Group shared his wealth of experiences as an investor, public servant and entrepreneur, with NAIC President & CEO Robert L. Greene. Nesbitt, who co-founded The Vistria Group in 2013 to build a private investment firm that delivers both financial returns and societal impact, shared a few of his childhood experiences. These include being bussed to an all-white private school and how that environment helped him realize he could compete at the highest levels. He also shared his transition to entrepreneurship, conceptualizing and launching The Parking Spot, an off-airport parking company, after a stint at Pritzker Realty Group, L.P. and LaSalle Partners. He also discussed his commitment to his community and his belief that we all have an obligation to do what we can to make the world a better place.
