A key component of the UP Program is to create impactful mentor-mentee relationships with WIA Fellows for targeted skill development and overall career guidance by pairing participants with mentors from the alternative investments industry
Who should be a Mentor?
NAIC seeks senior-level executives in the alternative investments industry who are committed to supporting the growth of diverse women in this field.
What are the responsibilities of a Mentor?
We are asking each mentor to give 60 minutes of their time per month for 9 months to support a WIA Fellow in her professional development.
This can include sharing your personal experience and insights, guiding a WIA Fellow through a specific phase in her career or by simply encouraging her to continue on her path forward. Mentors can meet with mentees virtually by phone call or video chat.
Mentors and WIA Fellows will be matched by NAIC.
