A child of post-war Vietnamese refugees, Julien Pham emigrated with his parents to France at the age of 4 and then to the U.S. when he was 14. After a successful career as a respected physician, Pham decided to combine his interest in innovation with the life lessons he learned as a Third Culture Kid. In 2020, Pham founded Third Culture Capital (3CC), seed-stage venture capital firm that focuses on emerging health tech and biotech companies led by Third Culture entrepreneurs who are often overlooked and underfunded.
