Wasim Ottman

Wasim is an MBA Candidate at The Wharton School, Class of 2024 and a Toigo Fellow. Wasim spent his 2023 summer interning at LS Power within the private equity team.

Prior to joining Wharton, Wasim worked as an Investment Banking Associate at Siebert Williams Shank and at Loop Capital Markets, where he served as lead junior banker on $1.7 billion in debt issuances for municipalities across the United States. Prior to that, Wasim worked as a Risk Management Consultant at Deloitte focusing on clients in the financial services industry.

 Wasim is a native New Yorker from the Washington Heights and Harlem areas and is a son of immigrants from Yemen and Ethiopia. He graduated from Baruch College with B.A. in economics, making him the first in his family to graduate from college. Wasim is also passionate about distance running, having completed the Philadelphia and NYC Marathons.
