Argand Partners Becomes A Signatory To ILPA’s Diversity In Action Initiative

NEW YORK, October 18, 2021 – Argand Partners, LP (“Argand”), the New York- and San Francisco Bay Area-based industrials private equity firm, today announced that it has become a signatory to the Institutional Limited Partners Association (“ILPA”) Diversity in Action initiative.

The ILPA Diversity in Action initiative brings together limited partners and general partners who share a commitment to advancing diversity, equity and inclusion (“DEI”) in the private equity industry. The goal of the initiative is to motivate market participants to engage in the journey towards becoming more diverse and inclusive and to build momentum around the adoption of specific actions that advance DEI over time. GPs and LPs who join the Diversity in Action initiative commit to specific actions that advance diversity and inclusion, both within their organization and the industry more broadly.

Heather Faust, Managing Partner & Co-Founder at Argand, commented, “We became a signatory to ILPA’s Diversity in Action initiative to affirm our fundamental belief that diversity of all kinds creates value. We have built our team and culture to create a diverse and inclusive working environment that encourages, respects and considers the unique perspectives of each individual in decision-making and that fosters constructive debate. Our experience shows us that diversity of background, experience, and thought is a positive contributor to team performance and investment excellence.”

Howard Morgan, Managing Partner & Co-Founder at Argand, added, “We are proud of the diverse team we have brought together, and recognize the need to remain active participants in recruiting women and people of color to our team and portfolio company boards. We regularly utilize non-traditional pathways to recruit talent and also seek to increase access to private equity for underrepresented and/or underserved individuals through partnerships and our intern program. We look forward to continuing to advance diversity and inclusion within Argand and the industry more broadly.”
