Nia White serves as the Capital Access Advisor to the National Association of Investment Companies (NAIC). Nia is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Arc Advisors, a strategic advisory firm providing private placement and investor relations services to a select group of high-performing alternative asset managers. Prior to Arc, she was a Partner and the Head of Investor Relations and External Affairs for Astra Capital Management, a private equity spin-out of The Carlyle Group, where she helped raise the firm’s inaugural fund and co-investments. Previously, Nia expanded North American institutional investor relationships for GP Investments, a leading Latin American alternatives manager. Prior thereto, she was an Investment Principal in the Investor Development Group at Actis, where she helped raise several pan-emerging market alternatives funds and opened the firm’s office in New York City. Before joining Actis, Nia was a Founding Partner of MAP Capital, a private placement firm.
Nia began her career at Goldman Sachs & Co. where she was an Associate in High Yield and a Vice President in Principal Finance in the Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities Division. She is on the boards of WellbeingXP, New Markets Investors, and The Bakari Foundation. Nia received a BS in Economics and an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
